Get Featured on Foundway: Share the Story Behind Your Work

Every business has a beginning.

Sometimes it starts with a problem that needed to be solved. Sometimes it starts with a skill, a passion, a second chance, or a simple idea that kept growing. For founders, entrepreneurs, small business owners, creatives, and nonprofit leaders, the story behind the work is often just as important as the work itself.

Foundway was created to help share those stories.

We are now inviting entrepreneurs, business owners, nonprofit leaders, creatives, and builders of all kinds to submit their stories for a free written feature on Foundway.org.

No cost. No catch. Just a chance to share what you are building and why it matters.

What We’re Looking For

Foundway is looking to spotlight people with real stories behind their work.

You do not need to have a huge company, a perfect brand, or a polished press kit. You do not need to be famous, heavily funded, or already widely recognized. If you are building something with purpose, solving a problem, serving a community, creating something useful, or taking a risk to bring an idea to life, we want to hear from you.

We are interested in stories from:

  • Founders

  • Entrepreneurs

  • Small business owners

  • Creatives

  • Nonprofit leaders

  • Independent professionals

  • Community builders

  • Local business owners

  • Early-stage startups

  • Mission-driven organizations

Whether you are just getting started or have been building for years, your story may help someone else understand the work, the risk, and the purpose behind what you do.

What Your Feature Can Cover

The Foundway submission form is designed to help us understand your story in your own words.

We want to know what you do, who you serve, and what inspired you to start. We also want to understand the bigger picture behind your work — the problem you are solving, the mission guiding you, and where you hope to go next.

Your feature may include details about:

  • Your business, organization, or project

  • What inspired you to start

  • The problem you are helping solve

  • The people or community you serve

  • The challenges you have faced

  • What makes your work different

  • Your mission and vision

  • What you are most proud of

  • What is next for you

  • How readers can support your work

The goal is to create a written story that feels clear, useful, and personal — something that helps people understand not only what you do, but why you do it.

Why We’re Doing This

A lot of meaningful work happens before anyone notices.

Founders spend years refining ideas. Small business owners serve their communities every day. Creatives build brands, products, and experiences from scratch. Nonprofit leaders work behind the scenes to support people, causes, and communities that need attention.

Many of these stories do not get told unless someone takes the time to ask.

Foundway wants to create space for those stories.

This is not about creating a generic business listing. It is about giving people a chance to explain the path behind their work, the lessons they have learned, and the future they are building toward.

How It Works

Submitting your story is simple.

You will fill out a short form with basic information about yourself, your business or organization, your mission, and your entrepreneurial journey. You can also upload a headshot, logo, business photos, product images, or other media that may help bring your feature to life.

Once submitted, the Foundway team will review your information. If selected, your answers may be used to draft a written interview-style feature for Foundway.org and related promotional content.

Submissions may be edited for grammar, clarity, length, structure, and readability, while keeping the meaning of your story accurate.

Share Your Story

If you are building something, solving something, creating something, or leading with purpose, this is your chance to share the story behind it.

Foundway is now accepting submissions for free written features.

Submit your story today at Foundway.org and tell us what you are building, why you started, and what comes next.
